- During a visit to Japan from 27th June to 22nd July, four medical personnel from the JICA RH Project Phase II in Nghe An were in JOICFP to learn about Japan's experiences in community health.

- From 18th to 28th July, Ryoichi Suzuki, Deputy Executive Director, JOICFP, Ryoko Nishida, Director, Kei Yoshidome, Program Officer and Kaori Miyachi, Assistant Program Officer, International Program, JOICFP, were in the Philippines to organize an Asian regional ASRH workshop.

- From 17th to 24th July, Ryoko Nishida, Director, and Etsuko Yamaguchi, International Program, JOICFP, were in Indonesia to monitor an Asian regional BCC project.

- From 24th to 27th July, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Asami Takeuchi, Technical Officer, Media Communications, and Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in China to prepare for DigiPlan Networking.

- From 27th July to 13th August, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Asami Takeuchi, Technical Officer, Media Communications, JOICFP, and Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Mongolia to deliver DigiPlan technical transfer.

- From 3rd to 6th August, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Malaysia to attend a regular IPPF ESEAOR council meeting as a regional councilor.

- From 5th to 9th August, Hideyuki Takahashi, Director, Wakako Kai, Assistant Program Officer, Resource Development and Campaign, Michiyo Ono, Assistant Program Officer, and Mayumi Honda, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Indonesia to attend a conference on safe motherhood, and for project preparation.
