- From 5th to 25th February, Dr. Fumie Takagi, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, was in Nicaragua for project monitoring, supported by JICA.

- From 17th February to 2nd March, Yuko Arimori, UNFPA GWA, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, and Mariko Homma, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Ethiopia to monitor a UNFPA project.

- From 13th February to 8th March, Ryoko Nishida, Director, International Program, JOICFP, was in Myanmar for the DOH/JICA/JOICFP PROTECO Project; Mr. Ryoichi Suzuki, Deputy Executive Director also joined from 16th February to 5th March.Ms. Naoko Ogata, Senior Program Officer and Ms. Ryoko Koshihara returned from Myanmar on March 9th and March 14th respectively.

- During 24th February to 19th March, Yukio Homma, Director, Chihiro Uchiyama, Assistant Program Officer, China Program, and Yoshitatsu Kanno, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, were in China for project orientation and field observations, with the support of JICA.

- During 1st to 24th March, Nobuhiro Kadoi, Senior Program Officer, and Amane Funabashi, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Zambia and Ghana to organize a regional planning workshop for a UNFPA-supported HIV/AIDS project.

- From 3rd to 24th March, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Media Communications, and Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Ghana to deliver IT training, and in Zimbabwe for discussions with UNFPA CST on IT training.
