- From 2nd to 6th July, Hideyuki Takahashi, Director, Resource Development and Campaign, JOICFP, was in Russia to attend the Civil G8 NGO Forum.

- From 21st June to 7th July, Kei Yoshidome, Program Officer, and Kaori Miyachi, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Cambodia for an Asian regional workshop on ASRH, and Cambodian Approduction training, under UNFPA. They were joined by Ryoichi Suzuki, Deputy Executive Director, JOICFP, from 24th June to 2nd July for the regional workshop.

- From 9th June to 8th July, and from 11th June to 5th July, respectively, Mayumi Honda, Assistant Program Officer, and Mayumi Katsube, Senior Program Officer, were in Nicaragua for inauguration of a new JICA-JOICFP ASRH project.

- From 27th June to 6th July, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Media Communications, and Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Cambodia to deliver Approduction training at a regional ASRH workshop, and for Cambodian project personnel.

- On 7th July, Atsushi Yoshino and Tomoko Fukuda, JOICFP, visited UNFPA CST Bangkok to hand over recently produced media tools, produced in Myanmar with the support of the Packard Foundation, and UNESCO Bangkok to exchange information on current activities, and to share ideas on future collaboration.

- From 4th to 15th July, a JICA-supported, 12-member Chinese team was with JOICFP to learn about Japan’s experiences in community health.

- From 15th May to 17th July, Ryoko Nishida, Director, International Program, JOICFP, was in Myanmar for the JICA PROTECO Community-oriented RH project as the project manager.

- From 8th to 21st July, Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, and Etsuko Yamaguchi, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Myanmar to discuss future country program activities with UNFPA, and to organize the opening ceremony for rural health centers renovated with Japanese government’s Grant Aid for Japanese NGOs. They were joined by Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, from 10th to 18th July.

- On 24th July, Dr. Prijono Tjiptoherijanto, Chairman, Indonesian Planned Parenthood Association (IPPA), was in JOICFP to discuss future collaboration and exchange information, including that on joint JOICFP - IPPA projects for tsunami and earthquake relief.
