- From 26th November to 5th December 2005, Mayumi Honda, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, was in the Philippines to participate in a training seminar on capacity building for Japanese NGO staff, organized by FASID.

- From 21st November to 6th December 2005, ten GO and NGO representatives from five African countries attended a JICA-entrusted BCC seminar conducted by JOICFP.

- From 6th to 8th December 2005, 12 UNFPA representatives attended a technical meeting on BCC at JOICFP.

- From 4th to 13th December 2005, Mariko Homma, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, was in Ethiopia to prepare for a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador mission.

- On 16th December 2005, ten participants from Armenia attended a session on Japanese experiences in maternal child health and family planning, at JOICFP.

- From 17th to 31st December 2005, Ryoko Nishida, Director, International Program, JOICFP, was in Myanmar for PROTECO management.
