- From 2nd to 6th October, Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, and Yuya Iizuka, Technical Officer, JOICFP, were in the Democratic Republic of Congo to attend a UNFPA Regional Media Conference.

- On 6th October, Ian Howie, Representative, UNFPA Vietnam, was in JOICFP to exchange information.

- From 2nd to 7th October, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, and Asami Kamiya, Technical Officer, Media Communications, JOICFP, were in Zambia to conduct Approduction training at an Africa Regional Workshop on HIV/AIDS.

- From 2nd to 8th October, Hideyuki Takahashi, Director, and Wakako Kai, Assistant Program Officer, Resource Development and Campaign, JOICFP, were in Indonesia to accompany representatives of Shinnyo-en to monitor a project in Java, and to visit Lombok to monitor a MCH project.

- On 9th and 10th October, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Media Communications, Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, and Yuya Iizuka, Technical Officer, JOICFP, were in Zimbabwe to introduce JOICFP's activities to UNFPA CST in Harare.

- From 24th September to 16th October, Nobuhiro Kadoi, Senior Program Officer, and Amane Funabashi, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Zambia for ATOMM project monitoring and to attend an Africa Regional Workshop on HIV/AIDS.

- On 16th October, Dr. Tran Nguyen Toan, Program Manager Medical and Technical, IPPF ESEAOR, was in JOICFP to exchange information.

- From 15th to 19th October, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Vietnam for a meeting with JBIC, VINAFPA and the Vietnamese Cantho Thermal Power Co., Ltd. to discuss a future project supported by the Japan Trust Fund (JTF).

- From 25th to 30th October, Makoto Yaguchi, Program Officer, JOICFP, was in Thailand to accompany an observation mission on HIV/AIDS prevention at the 2nd Mekong International Bridge.

- From 25th to October to 1st November, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Media Communications, and Tomoko Fukuda, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in UNFPA headquarters New York to discuss future project activities.

- From 25th October to 3rd November, Amane Funabashi, Program Officer, JOICFP, visited Myanmar to follow-up on IEC/BCC activities under PROTECO.

- From 22nd October, to 5th November, Etsuko Yamaguchi, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, was in Myanmar for BCC project monitoring.

- On 7th November, Mari Simonen, Deputy Executive Director, UNFPA, and Kiyko Ikegami, Director, UNFPA Tokyo Office, visited JOICFP to exchange information.
