New JOICFP BCC Tool Available

"Twin Angels" is a TV drama and 'picture theater' for BCC for safe motherhood in Myanmar, and now an English/Japanese version of the picture theater is available from JOICFP.

A picture theater is a traditional Japanese method of story telling using a series of pictures like a flipchart. JOICFP and its partners have developed the method as an emotional BCC material.

The picture theater is suitable for health education at the community level and training on RH. For those working in developed countries, it can be used for RH advocacy or school and out-of-school education, or workshops on RH to learn about the situation faced by millions of people in developing countries.

JOICFP will soon release a DVD, dubbed and narrated in English/Japanese, of the original TV drama shown on Myanmar television.

The "Twin Angels" series was produced using JOICFP's Multi-Solution technology, allowing multiple productions through only one process of development.

Copies of the picture theater cost 10,500 yen, including consumption tax within Japan, or US$100 in other currencies overseas.
