- From 19th July to 4th August, four medical doctors from Myanmar were with JOICFP for a JICA-supported training course on community-oriented RH.

- From 28th July to 4th August, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Asami Kamiya, and Yuya Iizuka, Technical Officers, Media Communications, and Kei Yoshidome, Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Bangladesh to conduct Approduction training and project documentation.

- From 5th to 9th August, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Myanmar for project monitoring and discussions on future plans.

- From 22nd July to 13th August, Nobuhiro Kadoi, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, visited Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia for project monitoring and to hold discussions with concerned parties.


- From 4th to 13th August, Amane Funabashi, Program Officer, was in Myanmar to follow up on an IEC/BCC Activity Plan for a JICA-supported RH project.

- From 10th to 19th August, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Toronto to attend the XVI International AIDS Conference.

- On 21st August, Kindy Marina, National Program Officer, HIV/AIDS and ARH, UNFPA Indonesia, was in JOICFP to exchange information on the ASRH situation in Indonesia and discuss areas of possible collaboration.

- On 30th August, Kunio Waki, Deputy Executive Director, UNFPA, accompanied by Kiyoko Ikegami, Director, UNFPA Tokyo Office, was in JOICFP to exchange information.
