Giving Feedback, Strengthening Friendship
On 4th April, Hideyuki Takahashi, Director, Resource Development and Campaign, JOICFP, and two colleagues, paid a visit to the Afghan Embassy in Tokyo to meet with the ambassador, H.E. Haron Amin.
Takahashi explained JOICFPfs activities, and how it was focusing on improving the lives of people in the project areas of Afghanistan, through activities such as the randoseru campaign, safe-motherhood, and other community projects.

He told the ambassador of his satisfaction with JOICFPfs Afghani counterpart, the United Medical Center for Afghans/Rehabilitation Program for Afghanistan, saying that communication between them and JOICFP was efficient and transparent.
Takahashi told the ambassador that feedback to Japanese donors was an important part of ensuring sustainability and motivating donors to continue their support.

Ambassador Amin was very pleased to hear how JOICFP was assisting the people of Afghanistan and pledged his support for public relations activities in Japan.
He also offered his advice on networking with potential supporters of JOICFP, and assistance through the Afghan Embassy in Tokyo if needed.
Both JOICFP and the Afghan Embassy were able to learn from each other and to offer mutual support; something that will benefit the people of Afghanistan.
