Maternal and child health project in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan

Project Objectives
  To improve maternal and child health through the promotion of safe motherhood initiatives. To improve hygienic status and nutritional status of mother and children.

Activities
  - To conduct comprehensive health care programs and services based on a Clinic.
- To conduct training of TBAs and community members for maternal and child health.
- To conduct community based health education and personal hygiene with deworming of soil transmitted helminthes
- To conduct forest trees and fruit trees nursery program with seeds and plants distribution
- Income generation and micro-credit activities.
