Building on the JICA project, this initiative targets youth in five sub-counties of Upper Manya Krobo District to reduce teenage pregnancies by improving access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services. Existing over-the-counter (OTC) medicine vendors will be trained as SRHR awareness volunteers to deliver accurate information and enhance access to contraceptives. If funding is secured from the SRHR Leaders’ Association, the project will also expand the VIRINA Project (supporting income generation through sewing skills training) and promote SRHR awareness among youth (particularly young women).
