NEWS & STORIES
- Enabling choice and action
JOICFP’s mission is to create a society in which women and girls can make their own choices regarding their sexual and reproductive health and rights, thereby realizing their potential to the fullest. Ultimately, JOICFP aims to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Reaching out to the grassroots
JOICFP, as a member of civil society, makes full use of its expertise to strive towards realizing universal access to sexual reproductive health services and information, including maternal health and family planning. JOICFP’s activities are rooted in the community. We support communities in taking initiative to fulfill their own health needs.
- Maternal mortality
In 2017, an estimated 295,000 women died of causes related to pregnancy or childbirth in one year, meaning some 808 women still die every day.
