Strategic Partnerships with the Pharmaceutical Sector Advancing Public Health Systems for SRHR
Advancing Public Health Systems for SRHR
JOICFP works in close collaboration with global pharmaceutical companies to expand access to quality health services in underserved communities. Through public-private partnerships, we strengthen health systems, empower communities, and improve access to the information and quality services of SRHR including maternal and adolescent health, cervical cancer prevention, and sexual and gender-based violence prevention and care.
Our Public–Private Partnership Model
JOICFP works at three interconnected levels to create sustainable health impact:
1. Health System Strengthening
Build stronger community-operated health systems by investing in health worker skills and scaling up health facility infrastructure in partnership with ministries of health and local governments.
2. Community Engagement & Demand Creation
Empower communities to increase health awareness, seek preventive care, access early detection services, and pursue timely treatment and care, working with key community stakeholders such as community leaders, community health volunteers, youth champions, and teachers.
3. Sustainable Integration
Integrate interventions into local governance and national health policy frameworks to ensure lasting ownership, financing, and continuity beyond project implementation periods.
