“Sex and Romance 2023” Awareness Survey
JOICFP conducted its biennial Sex and Romance Awareness Survey in October 2023, ahead of International Girl’s Day. This third survey gathered responses from 5800 young people across Japan, focusing on five themes: “views on love, marriage, and family”, “awareness of sex and sexuality”, “opinions on contraception and STI prevention”, “sexual health”, and “agency over one’s own life”. The results were announced at the “CHOICE FES NIHONBASHI” event for International Girl’s Day and published online.
