Global issues such as poverty, the environment,
food security... all that human beings have to tackle
in the 21st century, are inextricably linked with
the issue of population. This issue, which has been
seen as a numerical problem, is actually a matter
of health, happiness, and the quality of life of
individuals when seen from a microscopic view. In
the paradigm shift from the macroscopic to microscopic
approach, a new concept, reproductive
health, was coined. While the burdens associated
with reproductive health, such as a pregnancy and
childbirth, are heavily borne by women, adolescents
and males are also affected, for example through
sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV and
AIDS. JOICFP tackles these issues from the philosophy
of a movement that puts human beings at its center.
Our primary goal is to make sure that ordinary people,
each and every one of them, understand the true
importance of health, and to create a system of
support that makes pioneering action possible.
