- From 20th to 21st April, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in London to attend the final Steering Committee Meeting of the Global Round Table of ICPD at 10.

- From 25th to 28th April, Sumie Ishii, Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Bangkok to attend the 7th APA meeting.

- From 9th to 29th April, Nobuhiro Kadoi, Senior Program Officer, and Amane Funabashi, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Zambia and Ghana to inaugurate an ATOMM project, and monitor activities, respectively.

- On 2nd May, Sono Aibe, Senior Program Manager, David and Lucille Packard Foundation, was in JOICFP to exchange information.

- From 2nd to 9th May, Ryoko Nishida, Director, International Program, JOICFP, was in Vietnam to accompany a study mission from Myanmar to the JICA RH Project in Nghe An.

- On 12th May, Dr. Fwasa Singogo, Executive Director, and Albertina Muloongo, Program Officer, Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia (PPAZ), and Nicolina Mtatifikolo, Community-Based Service Manager, Family Planning Association of Tanzania (UMATI) took part in a special lecture at JOICFP.

- On 19th May, Ryoko Koshihara, Program Officer, and on 22nd May, Naoko Ogata, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, were dispatched to Myanmar for technical cooperation in the CoRH project under the JICA PROTECO scheme.

- On 1st and 3rd June, Abdul Wali Babakarkhil, Executive Director, and Sadar Ali, Program Officer, United Medical Center for Afghanistan, were in JOICFP to exchange information.
