- During 19th to 30th September, Ryoko Nishida, Director, and Kaori Miyachi, Assistant Program Officer, International Program, JOICFP, were in Mexico to organize a regional meeting and for project monitoring.

- From 28th September to 2nd October, Ryoko Nishida, Director, International Program, JOICFP, visited UNFPA headquarters in New York for information exchange.

- From 26th to 30th September, A Chinese study team from Jiangsu Province was in JOICFP to learn about Japanese experience in RH and the integrated project (IP) approach.

- On 5th October, four medical personnel from Cambodia were in JOICFP to learn about gender statistics.

- From 2nd to 17th October, Nobuhiro Kadoi, Senior Program Officer, JOICFP, was in Tanzania and Zambia for project monitoring.

- On 18th October, Gary Chamberlain, Professor, University of Seattle, was in JOICFP to discuss family planning in Japan.
