- From 29th May to 10th June, Tomoko Fukuda, BCC Specialist, JOICFP, was in the USA to attend the Global Health Council in Washington DC to gather information on new project models and exchange information. She also gave a presentation at UNFPA headquarters, New York, on JOICFP's BCC skills.

- From 29th May to 10th June, Atsushi Yoshino, Director, Media Communication, and Etsuko Yamaguchi, Assistant Program Officer, JOICFP, were in Mongolia to deliver Approduction training.

- From 31st May to 7th June, Ryoichi Suzuki, Deputy Executive Director, JOICFP, was in Myanmar to monitor the community-oriented RH project under the JICA PROTECO.

- From 1st June to 10th October, Dr. Fumie Takagi, Senior Program Officer, Program Development and Research, JOICFP, was dispatched to Nicaragua for a new project. She was joined by Mayumi Honda, Asistant Program Officer, from 9th June to 8th July, and Mayumi Katsube, Senior Program Officer, Program Development and Research, JOICFP, from 11th June to 5th July.

- From 4th to 10th June, Hideyuki Takahashi, Director, and Wakako Kai, Assistant Program Officer, Resource Development and Campaign, JOICFP, accompanied members of the Ebara Enterprise Association, and UMCA, to Vietnam for a micro-credit project observation.

- From 14th to 16th June, Steven Sinding, Director-General, Valerie DeFillipo, Director, External Affairs, and Yuri Nakamura, Resource Mobilization Officer, IPPF, were in JOICFP to speak at a media seminar, and exchange information with concerned MPs and GO and NGO representatives during their stay.

- From 28th to 30th June, Doortje Braeken, Senior Adviser Adolescents/Youth, IPPF, was in JOICFP to deliver a series of presentations in a workshop on ASRH, supported by JICA.

- From 2nd to 7th July, Hideyuki Takahashi, Director, Resource Development and Campaign, JOICFP, and Vice-Chair, JANIC, was in Russia to attend a meeting of the G7-NGO Alliance.
